Hi! My name is Melody and I am the proud owner of Feline Purfection LLC. I grew up in the industry by my parents owning a pet grooming salon in Southern California. Surrounded by animals my whole life, my mother taught me how to groom at an early age and I fell in love with the industry and forming such a close bond to all the pets right away. I have been grooming since 2009 and am still so passionate about grooming! I have competed and placed in grooming competitions and always continue to further my education. I am Fear Free Certified. You can rest assured; I will help every kitty in my care to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, during their grooming process. I became a Certified Pet Esthetician in 2018. With this certification, I am very knowledgeable on the science of the skin and coat and what proper methods and products will work best to restore and maintain cat’s skin and coat. My goal is to use all of my education and qualified experience to help my feline clients by methods of grooming to improve their skin, coat, and overall comfort. After-all, cats deserve to not just Look wonderful, but Feel wonderful! At home, I am joined by an energetic Bengal named “Tony the Tiger”, and a cuddly rescue cat name Reese. I am well versed in all breeds and a current member of the National Cat Groomer Institute, where I am able to stay up-to-date on the most safe and stress-free methods of grooming for both myself, and my feline friends.
